Jim Bevan was born in Canada, and started taking piano lessons at the age of six. He went on to win many awards and competitions before moving to the Philadelphia/Greater New York City area at the age of sixteen, where he studied jazz with Adolph Sandole and piano with Olga VonTill. After a successful career performing, recording, teaching and conducting in the US, Jim joined Cirque du Soleil’s Quidam as Music Director and toured the world for fifteen years, with another five years as Music Director of Dragone’s La Perle in Dubai. Jim and his family are now peacefully settled in San Francisco de Limache, Chile.
